Illuminate Your Holiday Season at Georgetown GLOW
A tunnel of lights powered by pedaling feet. Swingsets crowned with bulbous, colorful lanterns. A grassy lawn punctuated by sticks pulsing with blue light. These are just a few of the interactive light art installations that popped up for Georgetown GLOW last year. And although things may look a little different when you visit this holiday season’s incarnation, expect the same level of creativity from this year’s artist.
Georgetown GLOW is set to kick off on December 4th and run through January 10th with free, open admission from 5 to 10 p.m. The art installations are all outdoors, so dress warmly—and don’t forget to wear a mask. Social-distancing will also be expected as you explore the illuminated works of art. This unique event is a great chance to get out of the apartment and do something fun, safe, and festive, so don’t miss it!
