Looking for something truly special to warm you up on a cold February day? The DC Chocolate, Wine & Whiskey Festival on February 8 might be just the ticket. Admission includes unlimited wine and whiskey pours, gourmet chocolate samples, and plenty of other snacks including charcuterie and desserts. There’s even a fondue bar where you can dip strawberries in rich, liquid chocolate while you sip a rare whiskey or wine. 

Sound like your kind of celebration? Round up a few friends (or make it a special date with your valentine) and head on down to Dock 5 at Union Market. General admission is $45 in advance, or you can upgrade to the VIP package for $70. VIP perks include access to private areas, super-premium whiskey and champagne, and early entry to the whole festival. Keep in mind that the entire event is restricted to guests 21 and over.
