Check Out “Celebrating New American Gardens” at the U.S. Botanic Garden This Year

At the U.S. Botanic Garden’s new exhibit, Celebrating New American Gardens, you can travel to the San Diego Zoo on the West Coast, the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh, and the Portland Japanese Garden in Oregon without ever leaving DC. The exhibit launches on January 31st with photographs and other items that highlight the beauty and innovation in each of these gardens, and many more.

In total, Celebrating New American Gardens showcases projects from more than 20 gardens across the country. The projects vary in subject and scope, but they all have one thing in common: they broke ground within the past five years. Head to the Conservatory West Gallery before October 15th to check out the display and ogle some of the most creative floral artistry in the contemporary United States. Admission is free.
