“Hamilton” at The John F. Kennedy Center from June 12th – September 16th

Lin-Manual Miranda’s Broadway smash, Hamilton, has finally arrived at The John F. Kennedy Center, now through September 16th. The musical, inspired by Ron Chernow’s bestselling biography of Alexander Hamilton, follows the life of the American Founding Father using hip-hop, soul, and R&B to tell the story. Both entertaining and educational, Hamilton has won several prestigious awards, including the Pulitzer Prize, Grammy award, and several Tony awards.

The show’s leading player, Austin Scott, brings a charismatic charm and depth to the complex character of Hamilton. Washington, DC will be celebrating the musical while it’s in town with many area businesses and attractions having special exhibits and artifacts on display.

Tickets will be released daily for upcoming performances, and there is a four ticket limit per household. The Kennedy Center is the only authorized source for tickets and the venue cannot guarantee seats if purchased from another source. The show runs for about two hours and 45 minutes, including one 20-minute intermission.
