Honor the Founding Fathers at the National Archives
The National Archives is a museum and resource center that collects the documents that help tell the story of our nation. Located on Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, this should absolutely be one of your stops the next time you’re touring DC’s attractions.
One of the most impactful things you can do while visiting the National Archives is to visit the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. These three documents are the foundation of this country’s democracy, and have ensured the rights of hundreds of millions of Americans over centuries. It is a great way to appreciate the founding fathers, and all of their efforts to build ‘a More Perfect Union.’ The exterior of the National Archives, with its iconic pillars and large, free-flowing flag, make this a fantastic place to snap a few photographs. It all makes for a great place to visit when you’re feeling especially patriotic.
