The psychedelic world of Yayoi Kusama is on display at an interactive exhibit in D.C. “Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors” at Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden boasts a dazzling display of color, texture, and light by way of numerous mirrors. Legendary artist Yayoi Kusama has 65 years of art open for D.C. locals to come and experience in this exhibit, which opens February 23rd and remains open through May 14th.
Enjoy vibrant colors amongst whimsical installations, all nestled inside mirror walls that push art displays past the point of a simple museum exhibit and towards an immersive experience. Yayoi Kusama’s display hosts large-scale paintings and vibrant sculptures, many of which have never been on display in the US.
