Enjoy Live Music and Activism at The 2017 Peace Ball: Voices of Hope and Resistance on January 19

The 2017 Peace Ball: Voices of Hope and Resistance will be held on January 19 at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. The event is a gathering to celebrate the accomplishments and successes of the past 4 years and the vow to continue to make changes in the world.

The event will feature food, an open bar, live music and dancing, and museum exhibits will be open. Several distinguished guests and celebrities will be at the event including Chef Jose Andres, Danny Glover, Alice Walker, Angela Davis, Esperanza Spalding, and Naomi Klein. The show will be held Thursday, January 19 at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online. The event is 21 and over only.
